Get Organized

I love having cute little baskets to use for storage. If you have ever been to my room you would know. I have about 15 baskets/bins in my room. However, they are often expensive at most stores (even target) even though they are just simple little baskets. After looking around my house I found some wicker baskets in my garage and then I already had some that were in use, but added some cute labels. Also, I saw on a craft blog these fabric covered flower pots. I will take no credit for these, I completely copied the idea. I thought it was super cute and great for more storage.

Supplies:
1. Wicker basket
2. Scrapbook paper
3. Cardboard box
4. Markers

Supplies (Flower Pots):
1. Flower pot
2. Fabric
3. Mod Podge

Wall Art

Although I do not have extra wall space in my room at home or in my dorm room... I continue to make more art for the wall and frame more pictures. Maybe one day I will learn. I am just waiting until I have a house of my own and I can cover the walls from head to toe and oh don't you worry, because I will. I just love having meaningful and personal things on the walls. Color It

With all our free time during this past semester at college... haha, me and Emily discovered this super awesome thing on Crayola.com. Wait let me give Emily the credit she found it and told me about it and I fell in love. Thanks Em. On the website you can upload your own pictures and make them coloring pages and color them any way you would like. Oh wait.. but you have to buy a certain box of crayola crayons to get a code, but its not very expensive and worth it. I took random pictures from the internet, because everyone knows that I didn't have any, especially cool ones like these. Maybe I will have some like these in the future... since most of them are of married couples and about marriage, marriage might help a little to accomplish this goal. Feel free to use any kind of picture you want. Emily prints out pictures of our friends and colors them, it is super cool.

Supplies:
1. Pictures
2. Crayons
3. Mod Podge
3. Blank canvas
4. Fake flowers
5. Hot glue

I Love Lace

After redecorating my bathroom, my mom and I (really my mom) added a cabinet above my toilet, because I needed more storage space. I know shocking right. So I had to add some decorative things to make it not look so bare. With the book bundles and the crafty containers it gives it a vintage look and still keeps storage space for my q-tips and make-up wipes. Check it out.

1. Old or new books
2. Scrapbook paper
3. Paint
4. Lace/ribbon
5. Glue
6. Scissors

Jewelry Overload

Well I don't know about you girls, but I have tons for jewelry. For a while not even wearing half of it because either all my necklaces were tangled together or I could just not find any of it. So I have come up with some ideas to organize my jewelry and ever since I actually wear it and my mom is very happy that her money spent is not going wasted on jewelry that I have, but don't wear. Your welcome mom :)

1. Cork board
2. Thin rope/string
3. Hot glue gun
4. Any decorative item (I used flowers, of course...)

1. Oatmeal container
2. Glue
3. Scrapbook paper

1. Large clear jar (at HomeGoods)

Pillow Love

My obsession with pillows has gotten a little ridiculous. On my bed at home I have a total of ten pillows. I feel like a normal person would average about five, but hey I guess I am just not average. Unfortunately, pillows (or at least cute pillows) can be very expensive. So with some help from a few online sources for some ideas I have created some very cute (expensive looking) pillows for only about $8 dollars and only about ten minutes for my time. Well worth it I believe. So if you are looking for a fun craft that can add personality and fun to your room consider making a personalized pillow.

Supplies:
1. Pillow
2. Flowers of any type (I got mine at Michael's)
3. Hot glue gun
4. Green felt
5. String or thin rope
Feel free to take the idea and change it any way that you please :) Its fun and super easy.
